It was in 1972 that my association with Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan started. Subsequently
I became a Council Member of Bhavans organization. The then Executive secretary
Mr.Ramakrishnan became a close friend of mine and hence my involvement with Bhavans activities kept on increasing.
Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan was already running a school at Andheri in Mumbai. Bhavans entrusted me with the responsibility for constructing additional new buildings for Andheri School. I enjoyed doing this work very much. I also got myself involved in the progress of Andheri school. Today the Bhavans school at Andheri has become a land mark educational institution.
